After a very successfull adventure in South America in 2001-2002, it is time for another big trip.

Once the travel bug enters the brain, it stays there forever.

Already a year ago I started dreaming about doing a trip to South East Asia.

And as I said last time "You know how these dreams come and are always there, but you never actually start working on realizing them.

Now is the time to do it."

Keep on tripping!

As Sofie is planning to travel for probably half a year, and as we really like to travel together, we had to make a planning that would fit most of the points of interest in about 5 months. Our flight arrives in Bangkok, and we will leave from there as well. As the ticket we bought with Biman Bangladesh Airlines is an open year ticket (for only 560 Euros), we can reschedule our return date quite easily. The following is a rough plan we made, but the planning and even route might change drastically along the way.

September - Bangkok - some Thai beach to become acclimatized - Nothern Thailand - into Laos - northern Laos

October to Vietnam, Hanoi - Halong Bay - mountains around Red river

November - to South Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh city - into Cambodja - Phom Penh - Angkor Wat

December - to Bangkok - Southern Thailand - into Maleysia - Perenthian Islands - Kuala Lumpur

January - into Maleysian Borneo - Sarawak - Sabeh - to Sulawesi, Indonesia

February - Flores - Sumba - Lombok - Bali

and then ... we will see

Keep on tripping,
